Bulk Merge (Beta)
Bulk Merge functionality is in beta. Please send us your feedback using the Send Feedback button on the Bulk Merge tab or the chat on our website.
Assigned users can see all duplicate record sets in a table and merge them. This new tab is granted visibility using the new permission set "CloudAnswers Bulk Merge."
Setup Steps:
Install the app as usual (install guide)
Add permission set "CloudAnswers Bulk Merge" to the desired user.
Visit the "CloudAnswers Bulk Merge" tab to see and act upon records.
Note: The bulk merge shows existing duplicate record sets. So, you must have duplicate rules enabled. For more details on Duplicate Rules, please see the Salesforce Help article on customizing duplicate management.
Branding Updates
We've had a number of customers reach out to Salesforce about issues and feedback with our component, so we've added our logo to the component in the UI and in the Lightning App Builder so it's easier to tell which one is which.
Fixes
We've also squashed a number of bugs.
Fixed an issue where people were not able to merge records that had related emails.
Fixed an issue with duplicates being detected on merging.
Fixed an invalid field error on MailingAddress.
Fixed an ENTITY_IS_DELETED error on certain types of related records.
