This release includes our latest beta version of Bulk Merge. We've added the ability to scan objects for duplicates, quickly review and merge duplicates, or automatically merge long lists of duplicates.

With this release, we now have two versions of Potential Duplicates, the free one which has always been free and will stay free, and a paid version.

Now, you can merge duplicate records en masse from any supported object in your org. This extended functionality is something our power users have been asking for, and something we know everyone struggles with, regardless of industry or organization size. This empowers our users to choose between manually merging or allowing the system to automatically merge groups of duplicates depending on what you choose.

Before you start merging duplicates, you have to identify them. Using the Run Duplicates Search function it scans the entire org for duplicates on the desired object, using Salesforce's duplicate rules to find and match the duplicate record sets.

The manual merge feature is great when you have duplicates you want to review before merging. The Contact object is a great example of this, being able to use Record 1 as the master but pull any field you want from Records 2, 3, or 4 to get a fully accurate and properly merged record.

The Automerge feature is great for anyone who wants to merge large amounts of records quickly and wants the system to decide for them. The option to choose the Oldest, Newest, or most recently modified record lets you choose what record the system uses and let us do the rest.
