When sending reports to dozens of people, knowing whether someone is on the recipient list can be challenging. With the Report Sender component, it's as easy as looking at the recipient record.
How to use the Lightning Component
Adding the Lighting Component is super simple. From any record in Salesforce, click the gear icon in the top right and click Edit Page. In the Lightning App Builder, select the Report Sender component and drag it where you want on the page.
What shows up on this component?
The component will show scheduled reports based on the following information:
On a contact or people page, it will show any schedules where the record's email address or ID is used as a recipient.
On other objects, including custom objects, it will show any schedules where that record is a recipient of a dynamically filtered schedule.
π‘ Since user pages don't support lighting components, add the component to the People tab to see which reports someone is receiving. It will use the user id and the user's email to list the related schedules.
What can you do with it?
From the component, you can view any schedules, view logs for that schedule, edit the Report Schedule, Remove them, or choose Send Now. If you click Remove, it removes this recipient from the schedule, but it does not delete the schedule.
